HTC Vivid Mobile Specifications Review

HTC Vivid, Mobile Specifications, Review, android
The HTC Vivid is driven by 1.2 GHz dual-core Scorpion processor. It has a 1 GB RAM and internal storage facility of 16 GB which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of external memory card. For connectivity it has Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot and compatible with the latest 4G LTE. It has micro USB port for syncing and charging.

HTC Vivid runs on Google’s latest Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread os and is compatible with 4G technology. This is regarded as a masterpiece of HTC so far with high performance Scorpion processor, impressive screen resolution and Full HD video recording capability at 60 frames per second.

It has a dimension of 128.8×67.1×11.2 mm and weighs 176.9 gm. The Vivid comes with a 4.5-inch 256K-colors S-LCD capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch input capability. It has a resolution of 540×960 pixels and pixel density of 245 pixels per inch which is the most unimpressive part of the phone. It doesn’t go with the rest of the features. HTC should have used better screen with higher resolution and pixel density.

It runs on Google’s latest Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system. HTC has utilized the latest edition of their UI HTC Sense which makes the navigation system easier and nimbler. And if you are an app fanatic, then Androids app market is enriched with thousands of apps for you. You will never feel any emptiness in terms of apps with this smartphone. And because of its powerful processor and high resolution screen you can run any application or game.

The Vivid performs outstandingly in this segment. It comes with an 8 Mega Pixel autofocus camera with dual-LED flash. It also features geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization and touch focus. The most amazing thing about the camera is that it can capture 1080p video at 60 frames per second which is for the first time in its class. While playing video in slow motion you can realize every moment of the clip. The phone also comes with a 1.3 Mega Pixel secondary camera.

In spite of its powerful processor, power hungry 4.5-inch screen and superfast 4G data transmission, the battery life is quite longer. It stores enough to juice to provide talk time up to 7 hours 40 minutes and standby time up to 288 hours.

The HTC Vivid has some great specifications but the screen resolution is not one of them,  is really poor in comparison to other features.
